Western-Style Room Option
The standard room type for our tours is a Japanese-style room. However, for those who may not want to stay every night in a Japanese-style room, we offer the option of changing to a western-style room. Some of the ryokans we use have both Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, and we can change you to a western-style room (if available of course). For those ryokans without Western-style rooms or without Western-style rooms available, we can reserve rooms for you at a nearby hotel. You would be responsible for your own transportation between the ryokan and the hotel, however, most of the time we will be able to find a hotel within a 5 minute walk.
This option is completely flexible. You decide when and where you would like to change, and we will make the arrangements. However, for all of the options listed above, there may be an additional charge. Please contact us for further details, availability and pricing.
