My only issue with the itinerary was that it moved a little too fast, there were too many one night stands in that we did not stay in too many locations more than one night. Some days you couldn't remember what town you were in or where you had just been. :)

The lodging along the way was great with maybe one exception that was a little "tired". However, the staff at all of the lodging was excellent. You just can't beat that level of Japanese service.

The food was excellent.

The local guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. They really do become friends or, at least, part of the group. I hated to say goodbye to them when the time came.

Pre-tour documentation was emailed in a timely manner and the office staff did an excellent job of sending follow-up emails.
