I admire Samurai Tours for their emphasis on providing a real Japanese cultural experience and that's what I felt we we were able to have.

Itinerary

Excellent. It was exact;y the kind of package I was looking for on my first trip to Japan.

Lodging

It was a very satisfying combination of traditional and Western forms for my first trip. The Japanese ones were particularly well-chosen and I would be much more willing to stick with the Japanese ones on a second trip.

Food

The food in the lodgings was always quite good and was sometimes fascinating.

Guides

the two guides who were at our disposal when we arrived were very conscientious and knowledgeable and did an excellent job of guiding us past any complications. We enjoyed being able to get t know them.

Pre-Tour Handbook

It was very complete and always helpful and contained no significant mistakes.
