Lodging

Kuroyu ryokan did not have a bathroom which was not ideal. Daiichi Takimotakan ryokan room was rather shabby.

Food

Outstanding meals at Takinoyu ryokan.

Guides

Chiwako-san for the main tour was absolutely superb. She was warm, friendly and knowledgeable, everything a guide should be. Yuriko-san for our Sumo stable tour was fantastic.
