Review

This was my first time in Japan, so I found the itinerary interesting and varied enough seeing historical and other sites.

Liked all the Ryokans and hotels.

While not a big fish eater there was enough variety that I could eat.

Both our guides Aya and Masako were excellent.

There were some errors in the documentation. The meeting place for our tour was changed by your office and there was no need to do so. We went to the Starbucks in Tokyo and waited for over 3 hours. We eventually took a taxi to the hotel, however, the hotel listed in the final documentation was not correct for our tour. We were able to figure it out ourselves and take the taxi to the correct hotel. As well the one hotel in Noboribetsu does not have a swimming pool so there is no need to tell us to bring a swim suit. A double check of documentation to verify that hotels listed in the guide are the same that are listed in the cover letter or other places in the docs would have helped us.

The tour was varied and interesting. The places visited were the type of places I wanted to see.

Excellent. The guide knew when to get us taxis and when to have us take public buses. Liked the trains especially the bullet trains.
