Nice detail. There was some confusion with meeting times where there was different info in the itinerary or from local guides

Everywhere was excellent.

The food was excellent. My only suggestion would be that a inventory maybe be offered, I would have opted for a vegetable meal some of the times had I been aware of what we were getting.

I thought the guides all did a great job. There was some minor confusion with when to meet a few days, but I think the blame falls more on some members of the group - I think in one case the guide tried to tell one group an earlier time than the rest of the participants to prevent us all waiting on that group.

I felt very prepared after reading the pre-trip documents.

Not a fan of the super-crowded trains or buses, but recognize that is part of the Japan experience. It was great to see all of the types of transportation available.
