We enjoyed a varied experience of cultural, shopping, sightseeing and historical places.

The hotels were top class with the exception of one which other people will mention. It didn’t affect us as our guide Chiko San diligently planned ahead to offer us an upgrade ( because of my husband’s inability to climb the many stairs at this particular hotel) which we paid for.

The traditional meals were superb, beautifully presented and prepared

Our guide Chiko San was exceptional. She was 💯 organised, considerate of my husband’s mobility issues, friendly, informed and easy to understand

Very well organised! Not only did the punctuality of Japans’ transport system impress us, but our guide Chiko organised our arrivals and departures with the same precision

There was more walking than we expected but my husbands mobility got worse since we booked so long ago. We managed to adapt his shorter walking routes or took a taxi/ sat out an activity so that he didn’t miss much. For most of the group there was no issue.
