This is our second tour with Samurai tours. I wanted my family to see both east and west side of Japan.

Itinerary

Exceptional. Comprehensive. Detailed oriented. Easy to follow directions especially multiple transfers on the trains

Lodging

The selection of hotels close to train stations. Comfortable and very clean. People must understand hotels in Japan are small. The hotels had exceptional amenities especially free ice cream and late nite ramen 😝

Food

We added breakfasts. What an array of dishes both Japanese and Western.

Guides

We were very fortunate to have Mrs. Kimura who was conscientious insuring we had our train reservations, taught us how to use ICOCA cards, instructions in maneuvering train stations, Japanese culture, and customs. She was flexible in the schedule to meet our needs. I strongly recommend her as a guide. We so appreciate the arranged transportation when we arrived in Japan airport to our hotel.

Well organized and reliable.

Tour Organization

The written instructions so detailed and well organized. We had no troubles following the tour. This was a two week tour with 6 of us… no issues.

Tour Transportation

Reliable. Having transportation from the airport to our hotel after 10 hours flight was such a relief. The taxi drivers with their signs were waiting for us when we got out of Customs!
